What I Am Up To

I have been in my craft room, working on my submissions to Altered Pages. Hopefully, the website will be up on May 1st. There have been some delays, but that is normal, right? I am honored to be working with such talented women.
On Tuesday, I went to West Springfield, Mass to Osgoods Textile. I purchased a lot of trims, and some material to make some more lollipop flowers. If you are close by, it is worth the trip
I will have some more photos in a day or two.

I am vendoring at my church this weekend. It is our annual Quilt Fair and it runs two days. After Sunday, I can get back to normal.

Happy Birthday Bubbles

This is a card that I was asked to make for a special lady who is turning 86. Janet alias "Bubbles" worked in the circus. She had a very interesting life. Her daughter Janet wrote a very special poem that I included as the sentiment.

Cards from Sat

I spent some time in the craft room this morning. I worked with an Altered Pages image. I use lace and pearls on the left side. My flower is a handmade lollipop flower with feathers and pearls.
The paper is K&Company. I used peel offs on the border.They are from Pop Ups by Plane Class.
Love those things!

Vintage Jewlery Box

This jewlery box was made especially for my grandaughter Amanda. She turned 13 and I thought she might like a special place to put her trinkets in. It is a unfinished book box that I purchased at Michaels and altered it.

Hi to all,
I will be working with my new blog and uploading my new projects. I am busy with new items for Altered Pages also. This is so exciting! The new website will be unveiled May 1st. I am having so much fun working with the images that are sent to me for submission. So, over the next few days, I will be uploading my work on this new blog.
