Almost Done

Working toward my last two craft fairs for this year. It has been fun designing hats and many wonderful people have become friends!!! Here is a beret that I created for a holiday party perhaps?  Very glitz and glam  for sure.

I had a great day in Bantam on Sat. Many of my hats have gone to good homes. It is like seeing your baby leave home!!!!! Looking great Ladies!!!!

A New Beret

A new hat for the holidays. I just finished felting something similar for the upcoming craft fairs. As soon as I finish decoration, I will post a picture. These are very warm but light on the head!

I have made the Tiger  & Rudolph, . I think they came out cute. I have quite a few craft fairs in the nex few weeks, these should go quickly.

Here is another Diva Winter Collection hat which will be on display Sat Oct 27 at the First United Methodist Church  in Torrington Ct. I will have all of my winter hats , plus a lot of character hats for the kids! Great time to pick up some Christmas gifts.

I have finally found the answer to displaying my hats at craft shows. I love this display!! Just ordered another one for my childrens hats.

It was another wonderful day at the Quilt Fair yesterday. I had some lovely young ladies, sisters, Abbey and Tessa shown here. They look fab in their new hats!!!!!! Thanks to all who stopped by my booth .

Spent yesterday at the Avon Congregational Church in Ct at their Quilt fair. I was a busy bee. So many of my creations were taken home by happy customers. Today we are displaying our wares from 12-5. Hope we do well!!! It is hard to part with one of your creations, but it a wonderful feeling to have customers with smiles like these and know they love your "baby" as much as you do.

New Felted Hats

Have been busy with these new designs and I am so happy the way they came out!!! I will be at a 2 day Quilt fair this weekend in Avon Ct. It will be a lot of fun!!!

This was our display at the Litchfield Craft Fair this past Sat. Lots of visitors here is a little boy who had to have the Thomas hat!!!!!

Winter Cloche

Just finished this felted cloche hat. My partner Diane gave me the flower and my friend Carol gave me the pin. As soon as I saw the hat, I knew this is where these belong. The citrine color of the pin was perfect for this lovely hat!

Delivery of a Sunday Church hat

Just met with Margret to deliver her new Sunday church hat. She was delighted! I can imagine the stares on Sunday!!!!

Torrington Market Place

Here are some of the lovely ladies who stopped by our tent to try on some of my Diva Winter Collection hats. We had over 3,000 people for the final night of the season. Sorry it is over, but Designs2Di4 and The Hat Lady will be back next summer!!!!!

New Character Hats

I am working on  gifts for Christmas. These hats are very popular with Grandma to purchase for the  grandchildren.

Samantha's new shawl

I made this hat and shawl for Samantha, my granddaughter. She is going to wear it to church on Sundays. Sammie is going into the first grade in Sept. Where is the time going????

Here is a happy Red Hatter!!! Iris just picked up her hat and will be showing it off at a picnic tomorrow!

Re-designs

This lovely pill box hat circa 1960's is taking on a new refreshing look. I added some tulle on top with a lovely brooch. The feathers and flowers on the front give it a little pizzaz!!!

New Designs

I have been re-designing some vintage hats that were given to me. I  kept as much of the original hat as I could-veil, ribbon, bow.Here are the results of two that I worked on this am.

Diane Dobos and I  had a great time in Cheshire at the Strawberry Festival. The weather cooperated and we just had showers off and on. Met some wonderful people!!! Even had a visit from my Son and his family to wish me a happy birthday!!!!
