Fabric & Lace Book

Good Afternoon. I am a first timer with fabric books. I wanted to try the technique for quite a while but was afraid that the down loading of image to fabric was a little beyond my talents. Well, let me tell you that this was a piece of cake. The images are from AlteredPages.com. I downloaded the images onto my computer I bought some freezer paper and took a piece of light weight muslin, cut it to 8 1/2 x 11 and ironed it onto the freezer paper. I took all paper out of my HP printer and ran just the muslin sheet thru. Easy peasy. And they say you can't teach an old dog new tricks!!!!!! Hope you like it. If you have any questions, just ask. I will show some more pages tomorrow.

  1. Beautiful. Ok, you talked me into trying this too. I as scared too. What a lovely, vintage , elegant book. Stunning. Love it!!

  2. Well done on trying something that was new to you and look at the success - a gorgeously, beautiful book. I am sure you will make more of these.
